When my dear friend, Ashlee Buchholz was visiting the city last May, I joined her and her friends for dinner at P.J. Clarke's. After dinner, we were taking a walk on 42nd Street past the famed Schwarzman branch of the New York Public Library, when we stumbled on some men setting up a projector. When we spoke to them they told us that people had sent in messages to their moms for Mother's Day and the next day the messages would be projected onto the library. As we were talking to them, this projector's test screen popped up. I loved how the colored bars looked on the front the library and was able to quickly take a photo and preserve this unique display.
